Mark Robar will be offering a course this spring called “Beginner Beekeeping”. The course will be held at URI’s Weaver Auditorium. The class is comprised of 7 sessions, each running 3.5 hours long.

REGISTRATION:

Register for the class by calling Mark at 401-450-4970.

SCHEDULE:

The first day of class will be on Saturday, March 28, from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

The following sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings in April from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. The dates are April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

FEES:

The final day of class will be on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

The cost is $175 per person. This fee includes one copy of the classroom guide and a 3lb package of bees.

For $75, one may attend the class but this price excludes the 3lb package.

Additional family members may attend at an additional rate of $15 per family member.
